Managing Parents of Sick Kids in the ED - 23 October, 2024 - Trainee
Parents of sick kids don’t always trust you from the moment you meet them, but with the right approach, you can still build a relationship and ensure their child gets the best care.
In this 3 hour workshop, you will build skills for de-escalating parents who express their fear through anger and distrust. You will also develop strategies for discussing confronting diagnoses, investigations, and procedures.
Workshop will be conducted over Zoom.
9:30am-12:30pm AEDT
Maximum of 6 participants per group
